You have an idea.
Or a vacation.
Or a plan.
Whatever you have, we have a hunch you want to do something with it. Join UC for an evening with others answering this question:
What do I want to do next — And how can my money help?
We are hosting an evening of conversation, idea building and goal setting for your next thing. This event is co-lead by UC members with Alex Falenczykowski, a financial advisor from Northwestern Mutual. Alex is onsite to talk broadly about ways you could get to where you’re going. And UC is here to say, we care about your ideas. So let’s here ‘em!
Uptown Church recognizes an acute need for change. It's our experience that people find little to no value in the church as an institution. We also believe institutions cannot love people, only people can love people. We have a hunch that happens through the rubbing of elbows, sharing of space and concern for similar values in the community. That's when we can offer the nudge, to say, “God is present in the very things valued by this community.”
We believe an evening like this is one of the many ways to start the conversation about the value of shared ideas, a neighborhood, and the beautiful people that constitute the Church.
