On any given night there are an estimated 7,000 homeless people in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area, and 2,200 of them are children under 17. Minneapolis Recreation Development (MRD) and founded by Alan Law has a goal -- to feed and provide emergency assistance to as many of them every day as possible.
Every night Allan Law hands out sandwiches and basic necessities to homeless and hungry people in Minneapolis. UC will contribute to this effort and make 1,000 sandwiches Thursday, Dec 3rd. Will you help?
Ways to Help:
1) Give your time. Make sandwiches.
2) Give your money. It cost money to make sandwiches.
3) Give time and money. Make sandwiches with your hands and money.
$0.67 makes one sandwich. That's it!
